Request Account & Data Deletion
At Flowvent (developer of the Flowvent Track mobile application and platform), we respect your fundamental right to control and delete your personal information. This page explains the exact steps to request the deletion of your account and associated data, what data is permanently erased, and what records may be temporarily retained under statutory obligations.
How to Request Account & Data Deletion
In-App Deletion (Instant)
If you have the Flowvent Track application installed on your Android or iOS device:
- Open the Flowvent Track app and sign in.
- Tap on your Profile tab in the navigation bar.
- Select Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm your choice.
Web / Email Request
You can submit an account and data deletion request directly via email without needing the app installed:
Recipient: support@flowvent.app
Subject: Account and Data Deletion Request - Flowvent Track
Required details: Your registered email address and full name.
Our privacy team verifies your ownership and fulfills requests within 30 days.
What Data is Deleted vs. Retained
Data Permanently Deleted (Purged)
- Account profile: full name, email address, password hashes, and profile photos.
- Authentication sessions, active push notification tokens, and device credentials.
- Linked child/attendee personal profiles created under your guardian account.
- Live GPS telemetry, tracker device pairings, safe zone geofence configurations, and location logs.
- Unprocessed marketing notifications and personal communication preferences.
Data Temporarily Retained & Retention Periods
- Financial & Payment Receipts: Transaction references, timestamps, and settlement amounts are retained for statutory tax, accounting, and anti-fraud audit compliance as required by applicable commercial laws (typically 5–7 years). Note: Flowvent never stores credit card details.
- Historical Event Check-in Archives: Anonymized attendance records retained by independent Event Organizers acting as Data Controllers for their institutional audits.
Requesting Partial Data Deletion (Without Deleting Your Account)
If you wish to remove specific attendee profiles, delete past tracker location logs, or unpair tracker devices without closing your Flowvent account, you can do so directly in the app or by specifying your partial deletion request to support@flowvent.app.
